Shipper can verify the order billing address, and fix the package warehouse address and destination address.
If you have a Platinum Edition license, the address verification service is available for free for any domestic address. Domestic address verification compares the address to the U.S. Postal Service national ZIP+4 database to obtain the correct ZIP+4 (9-digit) ZIP Code and correct other common addressing errors such as spelling corrections, formatting and abbreviations.
If you have a Gold Edition license or want to verify and fix international addresses, you will need an AddressDoctor account.
Address verification has many benefits including:
- Fewer fraud claims by verifying the billing address.
- More accurate shipping costs.
- Fewer undeliverable returns.
