Glossary Item Box

There are 3 ways to verify and optionally correct addresses:

  1. Use the built-in domestic U.S. address verification service in Shipper 3 Platinum Edition before you print the label or export the package to UPS WorldShip. Shipper 3 Gold Edition does not include this service.
  2. Use the AddressDoctor worldwide address verification service from either Shipper 3 Platinum or Gold Edition before you print the label or export the package to UPS WorldShip.
  3. Use the built-in domestic U.S. address verification service in ShipRush on the Print Shipping Label confirmation form.

Shipper 3 Platinum Edition can verify and correct domestic U.S. addresses using an online service provided by Z-Firm. Access to this service is included in your Shipper Platinum license. It is the same service that ShipRush uses to verify and correct U.S. addresses on the Print Shipping Label confirmation form.

Both domestic and international addresses can be verified and corrected using an online service sold by AddressDoctor. To enable address verification via AddressDoctor, just enter your AddressDoctor credentials in Settings.

Verify and correct addresses before printing the label

If you have both Shipper 3 Platinum Edition and AddressDoctor, Shipper will use the built-in address verification service for domestic U.S. addresses, and AddressDoctor for international addresses.

If you have Shipper 3 Gold Edition and AddressDoctor, Shipper will use AddressDoctor to verify both domestic and international addresses.

If you have Shipper 3 Gold Edition, but not AddressDoctor, Shipper cannot verify and correct addresses. Your only option in this case is to the the domestic U.S. address verification service in ShipRush on the Print Shipping Label confirmation form.
