The downloaded weight is often not very accurate. If you have an electronic scale that works with ShipRush, then follow these steps to use your scale weight instead of the downloaded weight when you print a label.

Make sure your scale works with ShipRush. See the ShipRush documentation for help on setting up your scale. You need to separately enable your electronic scale in each flavor of ShipRush that you use.

Configure Shipper to NOT Send the Downloaded Weight to ShipRush

  1. Select Shipping > Stores from the Shipper Navigation pane.
  2. Double click on your Store to open the configuration.
  3. Select the ShipRush Export Fields tab.
  4. Double click on Weight and uncheck the Export box.
  5. Click on Save and Close.

Using Your Electronic Scale

  1. Place the package on your scale before you click on Print Shipping Label.
  2. Wait for the weight to stabilize.
  3. Click on either Print Shipping Label button to read the weight and print the label.
    If you use either Print Shipping Label with Template, and the template was saved with "Package Type, Weight, and Value" information; the template weight will be sent to ShipRush and ShipRush will not read your scale. If you want to use a template and use your scale to measure the weight, do not include "Package Type, Weight, and Value" information in the template.
