The service determines what kind of label is created. For example, if the service is USPS Priority, then a Priority Mail label will be created. There are two ways to assign a default service:

  1. Select a default service in Shipper Settings.
  2. Use the Assign Service automation task.

Select a default service in Shipper Settings

Use this option if you want to assign the same service to all (or most) packages that you download from your store.

  1. Select Tools > Settings from the Shipper menu.
  2. Select the Default Service.

Use the Assign Service automation task

Use this option if you want to assign a service based on some criteria. For example, if you want to assign USPS First Class if the package weighs 13 ounces or less.
