Glossary Item Box

This task assigns a value to the package's Reference 1 field.

Reference 1 is printed on most label formats.
  1. Select Shipping > Stores from the Navigation pane.
  2. Double click on a Store to open the configuration window.
  3. Select the Package Tasks tab.
  4. Select New > Assign Reference 1 from the Package Tasks tool bar.
  5. Select the Trigger that will cause the task to run.
    If you want the task to run before the label is printed, use the "After download" trigger.
  6. Edit the Criteria using the Filter Editor.
  7. Enter the text Expression.

Sample

Fill in the Reference 1 field with "Order #1234" where 1234 is the order number.
