Glossary Item Box

This task assigns a tracking provider to the package. The tracking provider will be assigned to the package in the store when the tracking information is uploaded.

  1. Select Shipping > Stores from the Navigation pane.
  2. Double click on a Store to open the configuration window.
  3. Select the Package Tasks tab.
  4. Select New > Assign Tracking Provider from the Package Tasks tool bar.
  5. Select the Trigger that will cause the task to run.
    If you want the task to run after the label is printed, use the "After printing shipping label" trigger.
  6. Edit the Criteria using the Filter Editor.
  7. Select the Tracking Provider.

Sample

If the carrier service starts with "Endicia" or "USPS", assign the "US Postal Service" tracking provider.
